Q: How many credits do I need to meet my biennium CE requirements?
All radiologic technologists must earn 24 CE credits every two years. This two-year period is called a biennium. Your biennium is assigned by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and is linked to your birth month and the year of your initial ARRT examination. The biennium begins on the first day of your birth month and ends two years later on the last day of the month before your birth month. Radiologic technologists who have successfully completed their first ARRT certification exam begin the mandatory CE requirements on the first day of their next birth month after the exam. For example, a new technologist born in July who passes an initial certification exam in May 2015 begins their first CE biennium on July 1, 2015, and must report CE compliance with their ARRT renewal two years later in 2017. To verify your biennium dates online, visit the ARRT website at http://www.arrt.org and click on RT Directory.
Q: What qualifies as a Radiation Protection topic?
It is really best to check with your state to see if an activity would meet the requirements of a radiation protection activity. Requirements vary for each state so we are unable to make that determination.
Q: Who keeps track of how many CEs have been earned?
eRADIMAGING.com maintains a transcript of the CE courses you have taken. Members can access and view their completed credits by logging into their account and clicking on "View CE Activity." Members can refer to this transcript when reporting their CE credits.
Q: Do you report my CE credits to the ARRT or ASRT?
An RT registered with the ARRT is required to report their CE every 2 years by completing the ARRT renewal form. Copies of certificates are not to be sent to the ARRT unless requested by them. ASRT members are responsible for sending in their certificate copies to the ASRT for tracking in their CE record. The ASRT tracks and transfers credits for members directly to the ARRT during a member’s biennium reporting period. More information about the ASRT’s track and transfer option is available at the ASRT website .
The ARRT and the ASRT do not allow CE providers to report to them. eRADIMAGING.com does track successful course completion and users can access and view their completed credits by logging into their account and clicking on "View CE Activity."

If you continue to have issues, please contact [email protected] .
Q: What is the course expiration date?

However, as long as you complete the course before its expiration date, you will receive credit for that course even if it is submitted after its expiration date and as long as the course completion took place during your current biennium.
Q: If I take a course before it expires, can I submit it after the expiration date?
YES! As long as you take a course before it expires, you can submit it after the expiration date. What is important is that you took the course before it expired. However, please note that credits are applied to the biennium you are currently in when the course is taken and submitted. Credits cannot be applied to a previous or forthcoming biennium.
